The TH17HD gives you the choice between the most dense maple or birch in crafting your bat. The denser the wood, the harder the hitting surface. With harder wood comes more pop and more durability. 

All of Goliath Bats are sanded for ultimate smoothness then boned to compress the grains of the wood, making our bats even harder. Our HD series are no exception.
